Only a Few More Sleeps

Time to get excited and to spread the word!

Also a good idea to offer a few prayers for a fine day. Apparently if you stand a statue of St Joseph on his head that has some effect - unsure if this has been ratified by the vatican so the blog will not be held liable.

This week all families will be given 10 flyers to distribute to friends, family and neighbours. The more the merrier. Remember rain or shine, a profit of pounds or pennies, it will be a chance to get together and enjoy a fun day together.

The Cox Family Jumps On Board

A late email from Keiran Cox (Phoebe and Liam's dad) asking if he has missed the sponsorship boat. Liz's answer was an emphatic 'No, the boat is still afloat and tied to the dock!'. Good on you Keiran, thanks to you, the Supa Swing will swing unencumbered by the cost of hiring. Wheeeeeeee!

Anne also needs more helper for the day - if you are not on a roster and would like to help make and sell donuts please call Anne. anne34@tpg.com.au

On The Edge

Big big big thank you to Cutting Edge - one of Australia's leading production and post production facilities. From their jaw-dropping base at West End, the team at Cutting Edge creates some of the finest advertising, animation and short and long form television you'll see anywhere. Have a look at their website at www.cuttingedge.com.au to see what they do and how well they do it. Matt Lawson (dad of Will and Jacob) helps every year with organising the audio visual equipment that contributes so hugely to making the fair what it is - a lively, colourful, entertaining celebration. As well as the kit, Matt brings along Bob who actually knows how to set it up and get it to work! Thanks Matt and Cutting Edge once again.
